Solid Brass Owl Door Knocker. This delightful door knocker is in the shape of an owl standing on a branch. A high quality piece of door furniture, the knocker weighs 1kg approx. Cast from solid brass with an unlacquered finish and hand polished. The rapper and striking plate are cast in one piece, hinged at the top.
Dimensions: 140mm high by 75mm wide and stands 50mm out from the door (5.5" x 3" x 2").
Screw holes are 55mm (2.2") apart (centre to centre).
Fixing Advice: This knocker attaches to your door with the two supplied screws. The owl lifts up as far as shown in the photograph so use an offset or a flexible screwdriver to insert the screws. This security feature makes your door knocker very difficult to steal.
